Any views or comments?
I am wondering if you would like to share any thoughts or views about my blog and/or anything about breast cancer. It would be great to read them. Thanks
This is my bit of cyber space to share with you some things that worked for me - tips. I am really pleased you have chosen to visit my blog and it would be great to read your comments. Fanx
I started my nurse training in 1974 and undertook midwifery in 1981 after a year nursing in the USA. My interest in clinical research led me to the appointment of the very first non-medical research fellow post with Royal College of Obs and Gynae (RCOG). I joined the University of Salford as a research fellow with Prof Andrew Long and then moved into nurse education. My research interests focus around applied research, reproductive health, service user experience, sexual health and young people. For the past 10years I have worked as a volunteer for Brook (Chair of Trustees) and more recenlty with Breast Cancer Care on the service user research panel. I believe strongly in embracing the patient/carer voice and in caring for the person not the illness. After my own experience of cancer I have promoted complimentary therapies and a positive attitude to help others. In 2008 I was awarded the Iolanthe Research Fellowship to write up my PhD study - icing on the cake for me to get this - amazing, confirming that hard work and persistence can pay off!!
