A new chapter

It is this week that my youngest son leaves home and starts University, my hubby and I will be home alone!!! On the one hand it's very exciting, much to plan for and a new chapter in his life and ours. However, on the other hand it is going to be a challenge adjusting to the fact that there will be just the two of us...... where have all the years gone??? It is amazing how fast time goes by, it only seems like yesterday that our sons were little boys and now they are young men!! I know that we not alone as so many parents face the same thing and are preparing to 'let go' and move on to the next phase or chapter in life. Handling change, uncertainty and the new chapter is going to be interesting but I know that I can do it and at the same time I will learn something new..... it's all about discovery. In fact this week at work I will be meeting new students who have chosen to embark upon nursing and together we will be exploring new things and making discoveries.
